And Beauregard is clearly the one for Grant, and they were clearly together. Did you know Beauregard was the commander at the Battle of Shiloh, in which Grant was on the edge of defeat and for some unknown reason, Beauregard ceased to fire upon Grant, and retreated back?
What other reason would an enemy general do that, other than for love?
